Poznańskie Koziołki

The Poznańskie koziołki, or Poznań goats, are one of the city’s most charming symbols. Every day at noon, two mechanical goats appear above the clock of the Renaissance Town Hall in the Old Market Square and butt their heads twelve times—a tradition that has delighted visitors for centuries. Rooted in local legend and full of playful character, the koziołki capture the spirit of Poznań: lively, welcoming, and proudly connected to its folklore.
